Notice of Election

The Governance Office received more eligible nominations than available positions for 

  • District 4 Kenaston – Indian Head – Moosomin (Postal code beginning with SOG and S2V),
  • District 7 Unity – Duck Lake – Watrous (Postal code beginning with S0K), 
  • District 11 Prince Albert and East (Postal codes beginning with S6W, S6V, S6X and SOJ south of Paddockwood SK and east of meridian 106), 
  • District 12 North West Saskatchewan (Postal codes beginning with S0J and west of meridian 106) and 
  • for Members-at-Large.

Because of this, an election is required to determine who will hold these positions.  

For District 4, there is one available position and there are two candidates: 

  • Alisha Catherine Bruce
  • Cheryl Lee Vertefeuille

For District 7, there is one available position and there are two candidates: 

  • Scott Burant
  • Bonnie Marie Heilman

For District 11, there is one available position and there are five (5) candidates: 

  • Keith Adrien Amyotte
  • Bryce Kyle Bulgis
  • Mark William Guidinger
  • Shawn Michael Vereschagin
  • Johnny Alphonse Walker

For District 12, there is one available position and there are three candidates: 

  • Diane L. Ahenakew
  • Dr. Betty Ann Balon Bodnar
  • Paula Marie Marsh

For member at large positions, there are five (5) available positions and 17 candidates:

Electronic voting ballots will be distributed later in May. In order to be eligible to vote in the member at large election, you must be either a University of Saskatchewan alum or a current member of the USask Senate. In order to be able to vote in the District 4, District 7, District 11, District 12 elections, you must also reside in the respective district.  

Notice of Acclamation

After the first call for nominations, these candidates were acclaimed to the following positions: 
  • Alishia Beach (Second term) as the representative for District 3: Leader – Climax – Swift Current 
  • Faith Nash (Second term) as the representative for District 8 – LaLoche – Green Lake - Watrous 
  • Eryn Siba as the representative for District 14 - Regina 

After the second call for nominations, these candidates were acclaimed to the following positions: 

  • Catherine Wheaton (Second Term) as the representative for District 10 - North East Saskatchewan
